    • Plead your case using his promises (Isaiah 42:21 – present your case)
      • Abraham did not waver
  2. Remind Him of His Promises – protect & guard us

    • Protects, defends, preserves

    • Psalm 86:13
    • There are times that your righteous is not enough to save you, but His righteousness always will.
    • 2 Samuel 24 – 3 options: famine for 7 years, run away from enemies for 3 months or pestilence for 3 days (vs 14 – pulled the card if mercy)
