Psalm 126:1 – 3

  1. Turnaround for  All
    • Captivity means restriction of freedom
    • May will be a month of divine freedom
    • Exchange lockdown for freedom
    • God is the only one that can do things beyond our expectation
    • With God, all things are possible
    • Where the limitation of man ends, God shows His unlimited power.
      • Jeremiah 32:27 (NIV) – “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
      • Job 42:2 (NKJV) – “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.”
    • Community Captivity – pray for turnaround
      • Global turnaround
      • National turnaround
      • Local turnaround – Psalm 122:6 (NKJV) – Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.”
      • Personal turnaround
        • God is setting the stage for your turnaround
        • God has you in His plan.  He has never forgotten about you.  Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” God will give you an expected end.
        • It is during the period of unusual is when God will do the unusual things.” PKO
        • Be ready for your miracle!  It shall be well for you in the mighty name of Jesus.
  2. God is The God of Turnaround
    • God will turn around your disposition – spirit, emotion, mental, mood, outlook.
      • Proverbs 30:11 (NIV) – You turned my wailing into dancing;”
      • Isaiah 51:22 – You will come with singing unto Zion
      • The joy of the Lord will be your strength in this season
    • God will turn around your situation  – whatever is causing you pain
      • God will turn your pain into your gain
      • Problems may be weighing you down – hopeless and helpless
      • See by faith, not sight.  God is turning things around in the spiritual.  “When God starts turning things in the spiritual, we will begin to see the manifestation in the physical.”PKO
      • Even though you are helpless with man, you will get help from God.
      • Psalm 147:11 “The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy”
      • The father of compassion shall move into action concerning your situation.”PKO
    • God will turn around your position  – you are quick to say negative things about your current situation
      • When there is life, there is hope
      • God of turnaround is ready to reposition you
      • You are at the bottom of the pile, God will re-shuffle the pile for your sake and you shall be at the top of the pile. PKO
      • It is because God loves you that He changes your position
      • 1 Chronicles 4:9 & 10 – Story of Jabez
      • God will reward your hard work.  Proverbs 14:23 (NIV) – All hard work brings a profit,
      • God will take somebody from minimum to maximum; from nobody to somebody (1 Samuel 9 is the story of Saul)
      • God did not only reposition David, but gave him a kingdom (City of David)
      • 1 Samuel 2:8 (NKJV) “He raises the poor from the dust And lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes And make them inherit the throne of glory…” – You will inherit the throne of glory.  It is not about where you are coming from, it is about where God is taking you.PKO.  God will position you on the winning side.
    • God will turn around your story
      • You story is so bad, you are ashamed to tell it
      • Even though you have lost small victories, God will give great victories
      • Simon Peter was a failed fisherman
        • He preached one sermon and 3,000 gave their lives (Acts 2:41), he preached another sermon and 5,000 gave their lives (Acts 4:4) and His shadow was healing the sick (Acts 5:15)
      • Malachi 3:12 (NKJV) “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.
  3. Conclusion
    • You need to have the right attitude for your turnaround.  “Your attitude affects your perception of your blessing.  Your perception has an implication on your blessing.” – PKO
      • Grateful people are always cheerful.
      • Complaining people always complain
      • Numbers 14:24 (NLT) “But my servant Caleb has a different attitude than the others have. He has remained loyal to me, so I will bring him into the land he explored. His descendants will possess their full share of that land.“
    • You need to cry out for your turnaround. Jabez cried out and his coast was enlarged.  Blind Bartimaeus cried out for his healing.
    • You need to celebrate your turnaround.  Psalm 14:7 (NLT)  Jacob will shout with joy, and Israel will rejoice.

Take the Word of God and run with it!!

Psalm 27:4 – 6

One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of  joy in His tabernacle;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
