Integrity Matters – February 7, 2021

Proverbs 11:1-3 (NKJV)
- Highlights
- Integrity’s a combination of honest, dependability and pure motive
- Integrity defines someone who, in public, is what he is in private
- “Integrity is rooted in our private life, reflected in our personal life, reinforced in our professional life, revealed in our public life.” – O.S. Hawkins
- Integrity is the scale the Beloved are measured
- Job – God was boastful of Job;
- Job 1:8 – “Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” –
- Job 1:22 – “In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.”
- Daniel – “Then the [other two] commissioners and the satraps began trying to find a reason to bring a complaint against Daniel concerning the [administration of the] kingdom; but they could find no reason for an accusation or evidence of corruption, because he was faithful [a man of high moral character and personal integrity], and no negligence or corruption [of any kind] was found in him.” Daniel 6:4 (AMP)
- Belshazzar did not measure up “TEKEL means that you’ve been weighedon the scales, and you don’t measure up.” Daniel 5: 27 (CEB)
- David: “ So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart,
And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.” Psalm 78:72 (AMP)
- Job – God was boastful of Job;
- Intellect, Insight and Integrity, the greatest is Integrity
- God is not looking for an incredible person. He is looking for a credible person.
- To Be Credible, You Must
- Tell the truth even when it hurts
- Keep a promise rather than breaking it
- Confront the problem rather than neglecting it
- Take the right path rather than the quickest one
- Stand for what is right rather than going with the majority
- Conclusion
- It takes integrity to maintain what God gives you
- Live a life of integrity
